ALLERGY SUFFERER BENEFIT FROM PLANT AIR PURIFIERS

   

    In the United States there are as many as 60 million allergy sufferers.  Almost 20% of the American population has allergies.  In other countries, such as England, the percentage of allergy sufferers is higher.  Many city dwellers suffer from allergies and their reactions are often more violent than those in less populated areas.  This is because diesel fumes from trucks, cars and ships tend to bind with pollen grains and make them even more allergy-provoking.

Because allergens are often particulates, filters can be effective.  But filters fill up and have to be replaced.  Not so with the filter bed of plant air purifiers, because the microbes within the filter bed actually digest contaminants and are especially effective at digesting particulates and carbon based pollutants such as the diesel residue which may coat pollen grains.  For this reason, it is expected that plant air purifiers will be the air purifier of choice for allergy sufferers.
